Your three changed pieces are on the canvas; the rail in the corner keeps score. Stash them, stand in your buddy's branch, come back, cut a branch for your work, commit, push, merge. Sweep the empty background to take more than one card at once.

Save in Krita, see it on the canvas

A saved file shows up as a loose piece next to the work already staged. No staging area to read, no list to parse.

Stash by dragging

Drag loose and staged work onto a stash box. Three files in, three named lines you can restore one at a time. That is git stash, drawn.

Stand in a teammate’s branch

Their branch card says incoming work after a fetch. Click it and you are standing there; your own work is safe in the stash.

Compare images by branch

Select tileset-forest.png and see the version on main beside theirs, labelled by branch. Text files get a real diff.

Approve on GitHub, like always

The review and merge happen in the browser, on an ordinary pull request. Git Mosaic does not pretend to be your host or your chat.

Pull, then pick your work back up

main reads up to date. Stand back in your branch, drag the three lines off the stash. Your work is loose again, exactly as you left it.

Why fifty

I’ve spent my career as an engineer on game teams. Arcade and casino games at Incredible Technologies, medical games at Level Ex, a year at PlayStation. On every one of them the same scene played out: an artist with a broken lock file, a checkout they didn’t ask for, or a day’s work overwritten by a merge nobody understood, waiting for an engineer to come untangle it. Git Mosaic is the tool I kept wishing I could hand them.

Fifty, because that’s the number that tells me whether to keep building. If they sell, Git Mosaic gets built. If they don’t, I’ll call every buyer and ask why, and refund anyone who wants it.

Delivery and refunds

Git Mosaic 1.0 ships by 31 March 2027. If it hasn't shipped by then, or you decide it isn't for you at any point before it does, email and you get your $5 back. No form, no questions. Checkout, receipts and refunds are handled by Gumroad; this site stores nothing about you.
